Fintech companies are open to change, flexible, resilient, innovative, and linked to the use of technological tools. In this scenario, from the Vanguardia portal they highlighted five reasons to work in the field of financial technologies. The article was published on August 27, after consulting Carolina Vargas, leader of human resources of Fintech Zinobe in Colombia.

A growing industry

According to the publication, fintech emerged as a complement to the large financial institutions because they directed their services to a public that was not being served and have managed to expand rapidly. „Only in the country there are more than 200 unionized companies, being the products of loans to individuals and SMEs (24%) and digital payments (22%) the most popular“, they highlighted.

„In addition, the success and strength with which this industry is perceived has made it the focus of foreign investment in Latin America. According to Finnovista, 60% of Fintech companies at the national level have received some type of financing of this type and close to 30% already have operations in other countries. In fact, according to the Financial Times ranking of the 500 fastest growing companies in the Americas, Fintech Zinobe is the first in Colombia and number 100 in the entire list,“ they added later.
